something has to give
Sometimes it's only when you begin waking up that you realize how far you've fallen behind. A lethal stew of boredom and disappointment and cynicism is bubbling inside my leathery exterior, a restless desperation that will either lead to grand creative feats or another soul-battering round of trouble. But things can't stay the same. Something has to give. I can feel it. I can taste it. I've been flatlining for too long. I think I'll go jump off a building and try to fly.
Sometimes you're oblivious to how much tension has built up inside you until it starts to split your skin open.
