back to the tuff coast
On Sunday I'm driving from Portland to a friend's house in rural Pennsylvania, where I'll station myself for the summer months as I research my new book about NASCAR. I'll be in the pit at the Pocono 500 on June 12, my birthday. I'll be zig-zagging all over the East and South well into the fall months, following the races and chasing stories. For the winter I'll probably relocate to Charlotte, NC, the Mecca of NASCAR.
I am seeking a few good souls willing to offer any of the following:
• NASCAR information
• a place to stay
• physical relief
This also applies to my cross-country jaunt commencing on Sunday. I'm heading from Portland to LA...then to a party in Death Valley...then through southern Utah...but the rest of it, all the way back to Pennsylvania, is up for grabs. Make me an offer so irresistible that I change my itinerary.
