I've managed to pry myself from bed long enough to feed the dog and announce the following events:
TUE, 2/10...I'll be in Room C-120B at Bellevue Community College near Seattle at 11:30AM speaking on "Race, Gender, & Guilt" to a group of puzzled students who suspect the worst about my newly shaven head.
FRI, 2/13...I'm spinning old country music at a Waylon Jennings tribute at Mt. Tabor Pub (4811 SE Hawthorne, Portland) starting at 8PM.
TUE, 2/24...I'll blab about "Crime and the Media" to a class of Portland State University students who've been required to read the chapter about prison from Shit Magnet. (6:30PM, 5th Avenue Cinemas, 510 SW Hall Street, Portland)
I'm also supposed to speak at USC down in South-Central LA sometime in March. And the Spring will probably bring a mini-tour of the Midwest with me and Peter Sotos.
Those who've shared carnal intimacy with me will be pleased to know I recently passed a battery of STD tests as clean as a church mouse.
Oh, and I've finally agreed to a deal about making Shit Magnet into a film.
