Well, as those of you who've dutifully ordered the Trucker Fags comic book and sundry TFags ephemera from me already know, the fags have indeed not arrived.
The comic book was promised to me by certain higher-ups in late May, but due to a series of snafus...font problems which halted printing, miscommunication with clerks at the publisher, etc., etc., I've only had my mitts on five copies thus far, all of which evaporated almost instantly. As of this writing, I don't even have my own copy.
What's worse, I've been informed that the publisher only has twenty-five copies left at their warehouse, with the rest of the run still sitting at the printer's in Quebec. Over the next week or so this situation should be rectified and y'alls should start receiving your copies.
I first must thank the great bulk of you who've been so patient and steadfast during this time of tribulation. I already plan to include free extra merchandise with each shipping, plus a gift certificate equal to the total cash value of your order.
For those who can wait no longer, e-mail me, and I'll send you a refund.
Tomorrow evening (Friday the 16th) Jim Blanchard and I will appear LIVE at Counter Media, 927 SW Oak St. in Portland, at 6:30PM. On Saturday we'll be up in Seattle at Confounded Books, 315 E. Pine St., at 7PM. We'll be signing the bookstores' personal stashes of Trucker Fags, which is a comic book rumored to actually exist. At the Portland appearance, my four remaining pug puppies will be on hand for examination and possible cuddling.
As a token of my great remorse and inveterate willingness to humiliate myself publicly, I'm offering this ultra-rare topless shot of myself in the hope that it will help bridge the gap between us and, naturally, to illustrate that I have decent pecs for an old man.
